Doug Ford hopeful for federal money for subway projects if Scheers wins the election

The Canadian Politician – Relief might come the way of Ontario premier, Doug Ford in the proposed subway project if Andrew Scheer’s Tories win the October 21st federal elections. This is because the Ottawa-born politician has vowed to provide federal funding for the subway project that is designed to cost $17 billion. The subway line would run through busy downtown Toronto, including an extension that would run from Yonge station to Richmond Hill. With the crushing congestion in downtown, especially during rush hours, it is hoped that the project would provide a much needed relief for commuters. The plan is in line with Tories plan to encourage more Canadians to commute to save the environment of carbon footprints.
