Scheer accuses Liberals of “charging the channel” away from SNC-Lavalin scandal and their corrupt practices

The Canadian Politician – Conservative leader Andrew Scheer has accused the Liberals of what he called “changing the Channel” and turning attention away from their corruption epitomized by the SNC-Lavalin scandal that rocked the core of the Trudeau administration. Speaking in Toronto on September 12, the Tory leader stated, “The only people who are continuously trying to re-open this debate or fear-monger on this issue are Liberals.” The Saskatchewan MP continued, “They are going to continue to do this for 39 days because they are desperate to change the channel on their scandals and corruption.” His comments came on the heels of the Liberal revealing a new video on anti-abortion of Rachel Wilson, MP candidate for the riding of York Centre. The SNC-Lavalin scandal involving the engineering giant based in Montreal prompted the resignation of the Attorney-General, Jody Wilson-Raybould, accusing the Trudeau government of putting pressure on her to soft pedal on the corruption prosecution of the company.
