The Canadian Politician – The liberals are breathing a bit easier with a new poll that suggest they are slightly ahead of their primary challenger, the Tories with the NDP being a distant fourth. This is according to the research conducted by the Mainstreet Research. According to the research, 37.5% of voters indicated that they would vote for Trudeau’s Liberal Party if the elections were to be held today. This figure represents a slight increase of 3% in a time frame of one month.
The Tories came in second with 34% of people contacted indicating that they would vote for Andrew Scheer and the Tories. The Green Party headed by Elizabeth May came in third with 10.8% saying they would vote for it. Quebec Politician, Maxine Bernier’s People’s Party came in 5th with 4.8% of the vote while the Bloc Québécois claimed the rare position with 3.6% saying they would vote for the strictly Quebec party.
