Scott Moe, Saskatchewan’s premier has highest approval rating

A new Angus Poll has concluded that Saskatchewan’s premier Scott Moe is the most popular premier in the country, beating out Doug Ford of Ontario with only 36% approval rating. A solid 65% of those polled gave the nod to Premier Moe, a figure that represents a 6% increase from the previous quarter.

Quebec’s premier Francois Legault came in a close second with 3 percent less at 62% while Jason Kenney, the newly elected Alberta UPC premier came in third at 61% and New Brunswick’s premier, Blaine Higgs a distant fourth at 53%. Nova Scotia premier Stephen McNeil is at the bottom at 16%. It will be recall that Scott Moe’s government challenged the federal liberal government carbon tax and lost, but plans to appeal the case.
