Newly elected Alberta premier and former immigration minister, Jason Kenney, has asked the red chamber, Senate, to move quickly with the environmental assessment process. Specifically, the UPC leader is asking the Senate to accept the amendments of the law that is designed to revamp the environmental assessment process. Jason Kenney who spoke in at a lunch-time function in Toronto on Friday, was elected in April as premier on the United Progressive Party platform, replacing the NDP government of Rachel Notley.
