The Canadian Politician (Toronto) – From all indications, it appears that the long awaited Mueller probe into possible Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections, is drawing to a halt. According to reports, the newly confirmed Attorney-General Bill Barr, is making preparations to announce the conclusion of the probe which is expected to come next week. Upon its conclusion, the Attorney-General will submit a summary of what is expected to be a lengthen report to Congress. It is unclear how much of the report will be seen by the public as there is no standing requirement that any or all parts of the report be shared with the public. In spite of this regulation, it is likely that report that the report seen by the public will be redacted. President Trump has maintained all along that there is no collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential elections. Mueller’s report is expected to shed more light on this claim.
